Miranda is a research development manager, focused on the global roll out of the GenOMICC study into low, middle and high-income countries. We develop relationships with interested researchers from all over the world and assist them to open their own GenOMICC Coordinating centre. Our priority is to support the development of research infrastructure where needed, to ensure quality genomic research is achieved that can be analysed collectively.

As a registered nurse, with a Masters in Public Health, Miranda has woven her career across the clinical specialty of emergency medicine, humanitarian aid work and clinical research. She believes that global participation in research should be a priority in terms of equity of access with representation from all communities to ensure findings are relevant to all people.
